Steers Distribution Limited, a leader in the distribution of floor covering products and accessories in Newfoundland and Labrador is currently seeking a full-time inside sales / customer service representative. This position will be based out of our Mount Pearl office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Be the initial contact for general inquiries regarding products, pricing, etc.

· Enter and process orders.

· Receive and process warranty claims.

· Maintain and enhance customer relationships and loyalty by providing exceptional customer service.

· Provide service to customers who visit our showroom and office.

· Play an integral role in preparing and distributing dealer promotions.

· Work effectively with all staff members in a team based environment to achieve monthly and yearly budgets.

· Work in unison with outside sales representatives and conduct outbound sales calls.

· Be an active participant in inventory control for smaller product lines.

· Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Proficient with Microsoft platforms.

· Strong organizational skills.

· Strong work ethic.

Experience:

· 3-5 yrs sales experience in the Floor Covering industry considered an asset.

· All sales experience will be considered.
