About the Role
As our Driver, you will work independently in the loading, delivery and unloading of Steelhaus products throughout Alberta. You will report to the Shop Supervisor and coordinate with the shipping/receiving department.

Position Details

Position: Full-time
Shift: Monday – Friday (8:00am – 5:00pm)

Duties and Responsibilities
Driving

Manual & Mechanical Loading Equipment
Securing Loads into/on Trucks
Operating Trucks in Various Climates (Indoors, Outdoors, Snow, Rain, Sun)
Truck Maintenance (DEF Fluid Refill, Fuel Refill)
Driving to & Arriving on Location for Delivery
Driving from location and Arriving at home shop

General Labor

Performing routine housekeeping around the Shop
Manual & Mechanical Lifting & Moving Equipment, Materials and Supplies
Conducting Pre-Use Inspections of Mobile Equipment
Operating Forklift in Various Climates (Indoors, Outdoors, Snow, Rain, Sun)

Office Duties

Interaction with employees, photocopying, printing, and other duties assigned

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Class 5 Drivers License with clean driving record
3-Ton Flat Deck experience is required
Gooseneck trailer experience is required
Basic computer skills (MS office)
Skilled in the use of various hand tools and operation of equipment including 3-Ton Transport Trucks, Forklift, Pallet Jack, and Load Straps
