About the Role
We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to help ensure the product Steelhaus supplies to our customers conforms to the requirements of the Steelhaus Quality System and the requirements defined in Engineering Drawings and all applicable acceptance criteria defined in Engineering Specifications.

• Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 am – 4:00 pm
• Location: Calgary, AB (SE)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform final quality and dimensional inspection
• Verification of marking of manufactured parts and components
• Verify MTR heat numbers as defined on manufacturing travelers and record all required inspection information and results on the Steelhaus Dimensional Inspection Report WebApp as required
• Initiate Nonconformance Reports where requirements are not met using the Steelhaus Nonconformance Reporting WebApp
• Ensure all tooling used in inspection is fit for use and has active calibration status

Experience and Qualifications

• 2+ years of quality inspection experience
• 2+ years’ experience following procedures and completing records of activities
• 2+ years experience in a machine or assembly shop environment
• Demonstrated computer proficiency in Microsoft Suite
• Demonstrated ability to function successfully in a fast paced, changing work environment
• Demonstrated ability to follow Management System Procedures, Instructions and Forms

in compliance

• Be a self-starter for QMS Initiatives and document processes where required to enhance QMS activities and make processes more efficient
• Identify nonconformances and create Nonconformance Reports for QA Manager review
• Must be able to effectively read, write, and speak English
