Steelhaus Technologies Hiring for Junior Full Stack Developer at Calgary, AB Full Time

We are seeking for a Junior Full Stack Developer to join our team who will be responsible for participating in all phases of the development life-cycle, experienced within web development technologies and tools, and thrives in a team-oriented environment and independent work.

Duties and Responsibilities

Testing web-based applications and web-based environments

Develop and maintain server-side solutions

Participate in supporting all phases of the development life cycle

Integration of front-end elements with back-end applications

Experience and Qualifications

Successful completion of a Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Computer Sciences

Possesses 1 – 2 years of work experience in design, development, testing, and implementations of websites, web-based applications, and web-based environments

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, DevOps

Proficient with these following web development technologies and tools: HTML, CSS3, ANTD, JavaScript, JavaScript Frameworks (jQuery, React, Redux, Node.js)

Experience with SQL databases (SQL Queries & Data Structure)

Experience with Agile software development

Knowledge of windows security and authorization technologies (Active Directory)

Ability to manage a variety of hosting environments including database management

Open to learning and willing to accept new challenges and assignments

Understanding of responsive and adaptive website design practices

Understanding of structured approach to development and implementation of web-based applications

Strong team player and proven self-starter with the ability to work with other developers and independently
