Summary

ing to the Director of Sales, the Global Key Account Manager is responsible for selling Steele Solutions Product line within the General Contractor, Architectural firms and Law Enforcement/Public Safety customer segments.

This position develops a solid understanding of customer project needs and timelines, and provides upfront technical knowledge to the customer in order to create effective Request for Quote (RFQ) proposals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Consistently meets revenue and growth goals set by the Sales department
• Performs research on Architectural firms, General Contractors, Municipalities and Law enforcement/Public Safety entities to identify key target customers
• Assist the Director of Sales in the Development of sales and marketing plans to attract, retain and develop key accounts
• Assists in the development of custom solutions and design options to meet customer needs
• Prepares and facilitates formal presentations to customers on proposed solutions
• With the assistance of an Estimator, prepares and presents quotes to customers
• Supports the Project Management and Design teams if necessary, ensuring the project completion meets and/or exceeds customers’ expectations
• Assists with the preparation, participation, and follow-up related to various trade shows
• Prepares and conducts product training for customers, when applicable
• Investigates and expedites product claims and customer concerns in accordance with companies’ policies in order to resolve problems and recommend corrective action
• Utilizes CRM capabilities to record account and sales process information
• Assist the Director with the annual business plan, sales forecasts and budget
• Position is Milwaukee WI, based. Traveling will be required dependent on business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, engineering or related field preferred
• 5+ years of Sales and marketing B2B experience
• Demonstrated success with strategic, solution selling process
• Experience with sales of commercial products
• Previous experience working with General Contractors, Architectural firms and Municipalities highly preferred
