Like any church, we want to tell you what great things are happening here at Steele Memorial UMC in Barboursville! And I can do that! But I also know that our practice is not always perfectly aligned with our principles.

We are seeking experienced part-time Bookkeeper/Accountant (10-16 Hours per week).

Full Charge Bookkeeper/Accountant:

  • Bookkeeping and/or accounting experience
  • Able to prioritize and multi-task
  • Able to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner.
  • Able to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.

Regular office hours are preferred with the hours being flexible based on work needs.
Preferred to be 9-noon, 10-noon

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $6,500.00 – $7,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Day shift

Experience:

  • Bookkeeping: 1 year (Preferred)
