Stealth Startup Hiring for Compliance Manager/Officer (Pharmacy or Healthcare) at United States Full Time

We are currently growing the Compliance function and looking for talented individuals to join the team. As a company operating in a highly regulated industry, the Compliance team is a critical function supporting the business’ strategy and operations.

As the Compliance Manager, you will:

• Develop, coordinate, implement and oversee the Compliance Program
• Ensure the Compliance Program meets current legal requirements, assess compliance risks, and ensure that the organization is responsive to those risks
• Promptly investigate compliance concerns and violations, maintain written documentation of each possible violation and the results of each investigation, and issue s describing the nature of the allegations, the discovery of information obtained during the investigation, the Compliance Officer’s findings, and any recommended remedial and/or disciplinary measures
• Communicate and collaborate closely with other members of the Legal team and organizational partners to resolve compliance issues
• Conduct or authorize independent investigations of compliance matters, and cooperate with internal and external auditors and reviewers to ensure integrity of audit and review processes
• Oversee program of compliance education and training for all Employees, provide a copy of the Code of Conduct and Compliance Program to each Employee, and maintain a complete set of all original Employee Compliance Certificates
• Collaborate closely with the People and Culture team to determine and implement appropriate sanctions for compliance violations
• Monitor applicable regulatory and legislative changes and update the Compliance Program accordingly
• Provide periodic s to the General Counsel regarding the nature, progress and status of the Compliance Program and related activities
• Work on other ad hoc projects as needed by the Legal team, with an ability to help define your role and areas of development based on your career goals as the team and business continue to grow

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in compliance or managing compliance related work-streams
• An ability to analyze complex compliance issues/risks and develop practical solutions
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, and an ability to distill complex concepts into simple descriptions or explanations
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to effectively complete assignments on-time
• Understanding of medical reimbursement coding, Medicare, HIPAA and third-party payor regulations
• Experience working in healthcare or with healthcare clients (specifically within the pharmaceutical supply chain) is preferred
