Steak ‘n Shake Hiring for Restaurant General Manager Full Time

We are looking for a Restaurant General Manager to oversee all staff, budgets and operations of the local Steak ‘n Shake restaurant. General Manager responsibilities include formulating overall strategy, managing people and establishing policies. Responsibilities of the General Manager

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant
• Design strategy and set goals for restaurant sales growth
• Maintain budgets and optimize expenses for the restaurant
• Set policies and processes for the restaurant
• Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
• Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
• Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance of the restaurant
• Direct the employee assessment process
• Prepare regular s for upper management
• Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
• Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)

Skills of the General Manager

• Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role in the restaurant industry
• Experience in planning, budgeting, labor and food cost
• Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)
• Strong analytical ability
• Excellent communication skills
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Problem-solving aptitude

Salary: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
