Steadily Insurance Agency Hiring for Insurance Account Manager Full Time

We are a fast-growing, venture-backed insurance technology company for landlords and we’re looking for someone exceptional Client Experience – Account Manager to join our Client Experience (CX) team!

At Steadily, the CX team is responsible for the end-to-end experience of our clients and driving satisfaction and retention by providing a white glove experience. That’s why we call our account managers “Client Experience Specialists” – we are obsessed with creating exceptional client experiences. In this role, you will be responsible for making sure client requests are addressed quickly and effectively, while proactively supporting the full customer lifecycle; from bind to renewal.

What You’ll Do

• Have coverage discussions with clients and cross-sell / upsell when necessary
• Quote and process service work in various insurance carrier systems and Salesforce.
• Proactively manage account retention by following up on cancellations and remarketing / rewriting accounts when necessary based on client needs
• Analyze and compare carrier quotes for proper coverages, terms, and conditions. Make insurance program suggestions.
• Perform all clerical duties related to client services; e.g. answer support contacts over phone, email, and chat.
• Provide support to the Sales team which often includes addressing time-sensitive requests outside of normal business hours (e.g. evenings and weekends).
• Maintain a high degree of accuracy in agency management and document management systems.

Your Background

• Experienced: You have direct experience working with customers in a high speed P&C insurance environment. You’re fast and your quality is even better.
• Insurance: Knowledge of insurance coverage and products and navigating carrier rating engines. You have an active P&C insurance license in at least one state, but multiple is better. Bonus if you have experience with some of our carriers and/or dwelling fire (Travelers, American Modern, State Auto, Liberty Mutual, SafeCo to name a few.)
• Communication: You possess superior verbal and written communication skills. You can communicate concisely and diplomatically, maintaining a calm demeanor and professional communication.
• Digital: You have above average computer skills. You’re great at independently learning new software quickly and are savvy using online resources.
• Self-Driven: You thrive under intense pressure and can manage a large workload with minimal oversight. There is no task too small or beneath you; “that’s not my job” is not in your mantra.
• Hungry: You want to make the leap into an early-stage tech company to rapidly accelerate your growth. You want to roll up your sleeves and hustle – you are not looking for a traditional 9-5 job.
