The position is for a full-time, Unarmed Security Officer/Special Conservator of the Peace. We will train you for this position, if you are a licensed Unarmed Security Officer with DCJS, with a minimum of 1 year security experience. This will be for three 12 hour shifts, from 8:00am-8:00pm, and one 6 hour shift, for a total of 42 hours per week, in Galax, Virginia. The applicant must have reliable transportation to and from the site. Additional job requirements:

• Must have effective reading, writing and communication skills.

• Must have own means of transportation to and from the site
• Must be able to pass a criminal background Investigation
• Must be able to pass a drug screening

• Must have a current DCJS registration as Unarmed Security Officer
• Must have a minimum of 1 year security experience
• Must be a team player

Job Type: Full-time
