STAUFF North America Hiring for Key Account Manager Full Time

The Key Account Manager (KAM) actively drives and manages the sales retention, growth, and customer satisfaction with the assigned accounts and prospects. The KAM works directly with the customer, in partnership with the Application Engineer and other Stauff Team Members, to identify and provide reliable solutions to assure complete customer satisfaction throughout the sales and services process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Primary commercial resource for customers on matters of the sales opportunity process, including but not limited to retention, strategic and sustainable growth, technical value, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.
• Create prospecting efforts to further portfolio with customers and prospects using solutions-based ideas and observations.
• Interface directly with customers, external and internal.
• Identify external customer needs to create direction with internal customers to provide solutions
• Articulate technology and product positioning for assigned accounts and prospects’ needs.
• Maintain a proficient level of product knowledge for all STAUFF products.
• Utilize analysis results of competitive products to create winning sales strategies for selling against them.
• Continually monitor the market landscape for competitive product launches, disruptive innovation, and other trends.
• Interface with application engineering and management to promote innovation that is desired by the market or can be pioneering to the market.
• Manage sales pipeline and CRM input.
• Collaborate with the Application Engineer to supply and implement engineering change notices to customers.
• Create Change Management Objectives, including but not limited to product launches and specification changes that make impacts on processes, sales, and profitability positively.
• Support business partners with commercial/account management advice for non-conforming materials and corrective action requirements.
• Actively participates in internal and customer APQP processes.
• Complies with ISO 9001:2015 and safety regulations and procedures.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor Degree
• A specific discipline is not required but Business or Engineering is preferred
• Minimum 2 years of applicable experience is preferred
• Fluid Power experience is preferred but not required
