Duties & Responsibilities

Do you love applying your creativity to produce entertaining video content for brands? Does testing and iterating to create the most engaging content sound like your jam?

We are seeking a talented Social Media Manager to join our marketing team on a full-time basis.

This person will be the face and voice of our social media channels with a strong focus on short-form video platforms like TikTok. They will create and execute our social media strategy, produce video content, and engage in community management in order to grow Statusphere’s social media presence.

A portfolio showcasing your TikTok/Reels content is required for consideration

Duties for this position include:

• Create content using multiple mediums, including on-camera and narrated videos to increase brand awareness
• Write engaging captions for social media posts using best practices
• Engage with our followers, members, and target accounts to garner increased awareness of Statusphere across social media platforms
• Maintain our social media content calendar and present at weekly social media meeting with leadership
• Execute and Create Statusphere’s social media marketing strategy
• Use our in-house guides, webinars, and blog posts to refine our social media strategy and manage our social accounts
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and changes
• Utilize our platform to curate user-generated content to repost on our social media channels including but not limited to Instagram and TikTok
• Monitor and on social media performance
• Adapt quickly to changing trends, algorithms, and platforms
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of work experience in social media management for a brand
• Portfolio or case studies showcasing work created while managing a social media account for a brand
• Experience contributing to a brand’s social media strategy
• Advanced knowledge and deep awareness of TikTok and Instagram
• Experience using social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, or other similar platforms
• Meticulous level of attention to detail coupled with strong research ability and written & verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated & possesses strong time management, personal organization & interpersonal skills
• High performer with an ambition to learn the business of influencer marketing and how it relates to client goals and overall business goals at Statusphere
• Travel to Company Events on an as needed basis
• Positive team player and problem solver with the ability to act and react professionally while under pressure

Salary Range

55k – 70k. Compensation is based on candidate experience.
