Stats Perform Hiring for Data Editor Job at Remote Full Time

WHAT’S YOUR NEW ROLE ABOUT?

Stats Perform is looking for a Data Editor to join our Central Data Insights team. The successful candidate will have an extensive knowledge of rugby, as well as cricket and football. Knowledge of other sports (especially, basketball, tennis, golf and motorsports) is an advantage.

Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be at the forefront of content creation for a variety of data editorial clients across the globe. With a focus on rugby, you will source, produce and distribute data-led content for both digital and traditional clients, as well as supporting internal partners within Stats Perform.

The role will require occasional mandatory weekend and evening work.

HERE’S YOUR ROLE BROKEN DOWN (NOT ALL OF IT, JUST THE MOST IMPORTANT STUFF)

• Content creation as part of a team that delivers data editorial reports to the media, professional clubs, brands and governing bodies.
• Liaise with our international data editorial teams to ensure a smooth workflow of content.
• Innovate and display creativity with new ideas on how to use data and enhance its story-telling capabilities.
• Content creation as part of a team that produces social media content.
• Sales Support to approach potential clients and prospects within the region.

DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS?

• An extensive knowledge of rugby as well as a solid knowledge of a range of sports.
• The ability to produce data-focused editorial content and reports to a high standard.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English (additional languages an advantage).
• Excellent organisational and QA skills
• Understanding of how data can be turned into compelling insight and sharable content
• Logical Reasoning Skills – focusing on the presented task & finding the most logical way to reach the conclusion.
• Ability to work well to tight deadlines in a highly pressurised environment.

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAD THESE DESIRABLES TOO

• Working knowledge of Tableau
• Understanding of new technologies used in delivery of multi-platform content.
• Team player, but equally able to take initiative and work independently
• Ability to offer creative and flexible solutions to help develop new ideas and shape innovative data-led products
• Fluent in a second language
