About the Role

As a result of recently announced government funding and as part of our exciting new changes to our service delivery model we require your assistance to ensure we have the right people to achieve our goals.

You will be critical in positioning State Trustees as a public-sector employer of choice, enabling the business to attract and onboard the very best talent and managing end to end talent acquisition from sourcing through to onboarding.

You will proactively partner with hiring managers to understand their needs and to provide advice on best practice talent acquisition and employer branding initiatives. You will also ensure a positive experience for hiring managers and candidates whilst building talent pipelines for critical roles.

Skills and Experience

To be successful, you will need to demonstrate:

• Sound experience as a talent acquisition professional
• Relevant tertiary qualification in human resources/business or equivalent experience
• Ability to provide customised advice, options, analyse risks, make good judgements, and solve problems
• Ability to develop highly effective working relationships by building credibility, respect and rapport with internal and external networks
• Excellent negotiation, influencing and persuasion skills. Able to effectively and creatively challenge people, situations and current thinking.
• Clear, concise and influential written communication skills.
