Who we are looking for
The State Street Global Talent Acquisition Team is currently looking for a dynamic and experienced Recruiter, Officer that plays an essential role in identifying top talent to fuel company growth across the globe. This position is a key role within the Corporate Functions Talent Acquisition team, managing and executing the internal and external recruitment activity, establishing talent pools and creating diverse candidate slates for mid-senior positions for the Corporate Functions within State Street globally. In this position, you will leverage your recruiting experience to implement staffing strategies and provide a qualified and diverse candidate pool in today’s hottest markets, for Corporate Functions. You will be based out in London, United Kingdom.

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

Your new role

As Recruiter you will develop close working relationships with business managers, Talent Acquisition team members, HR business partners and wider HR colleagues. They will manage all aspects of the recruitment process from validation of headcount approval through to day 1 of employment for the new hire. State Street operates a direct sourcing model which requires the Talent Acquisition team to proactively utilize direct sourcing channels and methods whilst continuously identifying new and innovative sourcing approaches. A key component of the role will be proactively advising the business on acquiring talent and candidate pipelining initiatives.

In this role you will:

• Consult with and influence hiring managers, and other key stakeholders to develop strategic hiring plans as well as sourcing and selection strategies.
• Facilitate intake meetings to establish clear understanding of position requirements and in partnership with hiring managers develop strategies for sourcing candidates by leveraging recruiting resources such as professional organizations, social media and community associations to attract, engage and recruit candidates.
• Educate stakeholders on a variety of aspects related to recruiting such as talent demand and availability, cost, industry standards, pipeline trends based on skills, sourcing methodology and other key points.
• Drive communication with hiring managers and interview teams providing coaching on the selection and selling process best fit for roles and candidates.
• Act as primary communication point with candidates from initial contact point to close to provide a positive candidate experience.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Proven recruitment/talent acquisition experience, ideally within an in-house capacity.
• Knowledge and experience of managing end to end recruitment processes from sourcing to onboarding; experience recruiting for Corporate Functions.
• Proven experience consulting with senior hiring managers on talent acquisition process and strategy.
• Experience in recommending and using a variety of effective direct sourcing strategies and channels to assist in the development of a diverse pipeline of candidates.
• Prior experience using Workday is highly desired.
• Fluency in English
