Under the supervision of the Administrative Coordinator/Procurement Lead of the Midlands Region the Procurement Specialist I would receive, interpret, and process invoices in house requisitions to replenish supplies and equipment. Consult areas, investigate and procure any special orders for all departments according to guidelines. Performing all duties in a culturally competent manner and in compliance of all county and state procurement codes, policies and procedures.
Procedures and Processes Region wide would consist of:
Management for payment processing.
Program Servicing
Women, Infant, and Children (WIC) purchases:
Auditing/Records
State Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelor’s degree may be substituted for required work experience.
Institutions of Higher Learning must be recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
