State of South Carolina Hiring for Machine Tool Academic Program Director #22134 at Charleston County, SC Full Time

Under the supervision of the dean, the program coordinator is responsible for the daily operations of the assigned instructional program(s). The coordinator is responsible for teaching courses, designing and developing curriculum, evaluating adjunct personnel and student performance, and advising students.

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Machine Tool or Industrial Technology or a closely related field OR an associate degree PLUS two (2) years of progressively related work/teaching experience. The preferred candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of recent industry-related field experience that includes conventional machining and computer numerical control CNC equipment setup and operation. Qualified applicants must perform CNC and manual machining performance tests in all processes in the areas taught.
