State of South Carolina Hiring for CTE Peer Tutor – (Part Time Temporary) at Florence County, SC Full Time
Job Responsibilities
CTE Peer tutors facilitate student learning by helping to clarify specific course content and promote the use of appropriate study strategies. CTE Peer Tutors will conduct regularly scheduled one-on-one and group tutoring sessions throughout the semester as needed.
Minimum And Additional Requirements
Must be a currently enrolled student at Florence-Darlington Technical College (FDTC). Must have a minimum of 3.0 GPA and be approved by faculty. Must have taken and completed the STEM courses at FDTC; have received a B or better in the STEM courses at FDTC.
Preferred Qualifications
The minimum as listed above plus excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must have good organizational and time management skills.
