The Skills Developer provides guidance and counseling functions to inmates inside prisons and follows up with FOA once on parole to collect data. This position helps to prepare and place individuals seeking employment in conjunction with Prisoner Education and Prisoner Reentry programs at state prison and camp facilities. It takes direction from the School Principal and Education Manager. This position travels to various prisons on a weekly basis, which could require varying work hours due to the travel

Possession of a bachelor’s degree with a major in guidance and counseling, sociology, psychology, or social work.
