TITLE

Talent Acquisition Specialist

DEFINITION

Under the supervision of Stars Therapy Services® Human Resources Administrator, the Recruiting Specialist is responsible for providing administrative support to the Program needs by assuming recruiting duties.

DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE TO

Human Resources Administrator

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage talent acquisition efforts for exempt and non-exempt positions, to include sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, and hiring. *

• Advertise and organize recruiting efforts for new candidates. *

• Maintain general knowledge of Paychex/MyStaffing Pro Applicant Tracking System Assist with new hire on-boarding. *

• Processes employee paperwork and enters data into company database (NPA and Paychex) and maintains records *

• Provides assistant to new hires during first week of orientation *

• Maintains the employee contact information list, organizational charts, new hire documents, personnel folders, etc. *

• Assist with terminating employees from internal systems and filing *

• Assist in promoting company policies *

• Maintain appropriate interpersonal relationships with employees, peers, and consumers Maintains Employee Personnel Files *

• Responsible for ongoing upkeep of all personnel files *

• Tracks and maintains certification, licensure, and CPR expirations and ensures all on file are current *

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA compliance policies *

• Performs other duties as assigned. *

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• A.A or equivalent experience *

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team *

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint) Familiarity with Google Suite (gmail, Google Drives) *

• Knowledge of general office machines and telephone system *

• High degree of discretion in dealing with confidential information Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required *

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• California driver’s license *

• Proof of car insurance in employee’s name and current address Must be willing to submit driver’s license and fingerprints for background check Must be able to submit verification of legal rights to work in the U.S. upon hire Must be willing to work full-time *

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
