TITLE: Senior Accountant

REPORTS TO: Plant Controller
COMPENSATION: $60k-$75k base salary plus 10% annual bonus and full benefits

Job Summary:

The Senior Accountant position is responsible for a wide range of activities, including day-to-day accounting initiatives and a variety of financial analyses and special projects.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Assist with monthly close for operating entities

· Includes various accruals (loan interest, bonus, commissions, invoices awaiting approval), various allocations (utilities, health & welfare, rent), amortization of prepaids, etc.

· Prepare and book journal entries

· Monthly account reconciliation for inventory and other selected accounts

· Assist in the setting and monitoring of standard costs, including labor and overhead rates

· Monthly bank reconciliations for all entities (operating and payroll accounts)

· Assist with maintaining fixed asset schedules

· Assist in preparation of key performance indicators and variance analysis

· Assist with completing tax filings

· Assist with the development and testing of new ERP system

· Other related duties as assigned

· Completion of training programs as assigned and/or required including standard of work

Education/Experience:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

· Minimum 3 Years of Accounting Experience

· Active CPA license preferred

· Familiarity with ERP systems

· Superior MS Office skills (Excel)
