Position overview

Starling Services are urgently looking for WebSphere Consultant in the market who are interested in working with us for a long term contract job opportunity

We are Looking for an experienced WebSphere Commerce developer with deep knowledge of Version 8 and the Aurora store front. In addition, has experience with adding freight/delivery providers and working with payment plugins.

Essential Skills

• Proven demonstrated ability with: HCL Commerce V8
• Aurora Storefront
• SQL development & support
• J2EE based applications (minimum 5 years).
• JSPs
• Servlets
• Enterprise Java Beans
• Java, SQL, JQuery, CSS, REST
• Demonstrated ability with HTML, JavaScript, SOAP, Web Services and XML.
• Proven ability to develop clear and concise documentation.
• Ability to understand business functions.
• Demonstrated ability to understand business requirements and solutions.
• Ability to identify and recommend improvements to business functions.
• Able to apply problem-solving techniques.

Requirements

• Proven work experience in as a computer software engineer or software developer
• Hands on experience in designing interactive applications
• Ability to develop software in C, C++, C#, Java or other selected languages
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate) Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC)
• Experience with test-driven development
• Mastery in software engineering tools
• Ability to document requirements and specifications
• Familiarity with software development methodology and release processes
