Description :
This role is responsible for full life cycle recruiting and sourcing for the organization.
This position will work with HR, the department heads as well as our senior management team to identify, pursue and acquire top-tier talent.
This role is responsible for both short term and long-term hiring needs.
Recruiting / Sourcing / Networking : 60%
This individual will create and execute a formal recruiting strategy plan for review and revision annually. Working with internal and external resources, this role will be responsible for developing an active and passive candidate pipeline of top tier talent to fill skills gaps / pending retirements as well as managing the day to day hiring needs of the organization.
The ideal candidate will engage actively with top tier talent to further S&S’s plans for growth and expansion. In conjunction with our HRBP.
this individual will partner regularly with different departments to determine the current and future hiring needs. This position will participate in college events, job fairs and regional insurance associations as well as other networking events as ways to source, connect and acquire talent.
This role will partner with external recruiters when appropriate and manage those relationships. This ideal candidate position will engage on maintaining ongoing relationships with candidates for future opportunities.
Administrative : 40%
The Associate will complete the screening and interview process as well as coordinate the interview with scheduled with all involved parties.
This role will also create, draft and finalize employment proposals for presentation. This individual will initiate all background checks.
In addition, Omnia assessments will be delivered upon request. This position is responsible for managing our 30-day check-in process with all new hires.

We expect this individual to execute on the following :
1. Draft, deliver and evaluate annual recruiting strategy plan, working with HR, our managers as well as senior leadership.
2. Working with HR, identify skills gaps / pending retirement for target recruiting. Work with management and sales leadership to identify critical positions and short and long term needs.
Create plan to pursue individual designated talent. Identify players and timing for contact. Track results and pivot when necessary.
3. Organizes and attends job fairs, campus events, and other networking events to locate talent. Partners with local universities, professors and other business entities to attend events for professional networking.
Screen and maintain relationships with outside recruiters when appropriate to acquire S&S worthy talent.
4. Manage day to day hiring process for open positions due to voluntary or involuntary separation. Host intake meeting with managers to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s).
Post open positions via our HRIS and determine proper source for locating talent. Send assessment to selected candidates and then share viable candidates with hiring managers.
collect feedback when placement is unsuccessful. Notify candidates if not selected for positions.
6. Draft and prepare employment proposal for presentation alone or along with hiring manager.
7. Coordinate start date and facilitate the transfer of new hire information to payroll.
8. Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations.
9.Collect and analyze data to maintain current understanding of fair and competitive market salaries, candidate availability, and demand for candidates in particular fields.
10. Utilize an array of sourcing engines and materials to acquire wide range of applicants.
11. Prepare hiring forecasts as part of the company’s strategic planning.
12. Document processes and foster good relationships with potential candidates and past applicants.
