Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Program Manager include:
Lead and mentor diverse, cross functional teams to develop timely and successful product launches through the commercialization process towards high volume production.
Develop Strategic Plans for new and established clients that focus on Client Value, with an aim to expand revenues through NPI and Manufacturing service offerings.
Collaborate with Production and Planning Manager on planning, implementation, and review of multiple products on the manufacturing line.
Establish a deep understanding of client’s strategic direction and work to align and support all activities required for our client’s success.
Oversee cost reduction strategies and process development aligned with clients’ needs.
Work closely with clients, team members, and vendors to ensure that schedules are met, and budgets are controlled.
Own the Cost Model Strategy for projects and liaise with the related Development Project Manager communications with clients
Champion department goals and initiatives by taking strategic actions to embed these goals in all working areas in the department
Interface with Development Project Managers team to ensure awareness of NPI and Manufacturing resources in early project stage
Develop and implement tools and targets for client key performance indicators (KPI’s), including reviews and future actions to shepherd the product through its full lifecycle and client strategic plans
Oversee the work of team members to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, company procedures, product requirements, and specifications.
Adhere to and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS), this will include developing and maintaining documentation
Our ideal candidate brings:
7-10 years of experience in Product Management or Project Engineering roles with product responsibility, client relationship, and ownership.
Degree in Business Management, Engineering, or related field.
Previous experience as a Project Manager in a consulting environment, and experience in a regulated industry, whether medical or not, would be advantageous.
Experience working in an ISO environment and knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
Strong planning, relationship building, and negotiation skills, required to create win/win situations for our clients and our company.
Proven Innovative problem-solving skills and adaptability
Strong leadership and visionary skills
Demonstrated ability to balance numerous competing priorities.
Excellent communications skills, both verbal & written
Basic computer skills (Microsoft), experience with SharePoint and MRP software
