StarCompliance, a leading provider of compliance and regulatory software solutions that detect and mitigate potential employee conflicts of interest, is searching for a Training Instructor.

Our Client Services team is on a mission to assist our clients by delivering best-in-class services and support with the overarching goal of helping clients achieve their business goals.

We are looking for someone who will be pivotal in educating our clients on our applications, as well as participate in content creation. Our Training Instructor will:

• Create an open and encouraging learning space where participants feel comfortable and are encouraged to contribute
• Deliver virtual or client-located training for various StarCompliance products to our new and current clients
• Deliver foundational instruction to new clients, facilitating the clients’ understanding of the overall product
• Provide support to individuals on the team and other internal partners
• Act as Lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Client Services teams our applications
• Compile and deliver “ad-hoc” training sessions to existing clients, based on client’s requirement
• Research product questions and follow-up with clients to ensure that “parked” questions are answered to the best of her/his/their ability
• Create sessions and record participation and training in the StarCompliance Learning Management System (LMS)
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of an Instructor Library of modules which will be used for Instructor-Led Training
• Provide support to individuals on the team and other internal partners
• Enthusiastically onboard new joiners by delivering Foundational Training to internal colleagues
• Some travel may be required

Qualifications:

• Ability to have fun!
• Passion for learning
• Ability to achieve high levels of client satisfaction and negotiate successfully with internal and external stakeholders
• 3+ years in adult teaching with strong facilitation skills
• Understanding of effective teaching methodologies and tools
• Experience in creating a client-facing Learning Management System
• Proficient in MS Office (esp. PowerPoint) and e-learning software is an asset
• Demonstrated ability to analyze audience and tailor delivery to varied audiences
• Excellent ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
• Phenomenal communication, presentation, and public speaking skills in English
• Experience within the compliance industry is preferred, but not mandatory
• Financial technology software background is preferred, but not mandatory
• Bachelor’s Degree
