This role contributes to business success by providing an engaging and inclusive recruitment and selection process which delivers talent and capability in line with agreed organisation needs. You will work collaboratively with the EMEA Support Centre and ARP Hiring Managers to deliver the full spectrum of talent acquisition services that attract and retain the very best talent, whilst embracing the Starbucks mission and values. You will lead with all aspects of operational recruitment delivery in your functional areas and on certain talent acquisition CoE projects for the EMEA region. As the subject matter expert, you will provide expertise and support to your business partners whilst anticipating future needs; you will build robust relationships internally with functional hiring leads and with external partners and suppliers. You will design and deliver effective recruitment campaigns whilst managing a high touch end-to-end candidate experience. You will apply your technical sourcing capability to proactively engage talent and improve our brand reach into the EMEA region. Finally, as an expert you will partner with our market PRO teams and licensees on bespoke recruitment campaigns.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
In partnership with the PRO business partner be aware of present resourcing needs within EMEA support centre functional teams across permanent and temporary hiring to fill timely in line with business requirements.
In consultation with the functional leads and PRO business partner understand and plan strategies for future resourcing needs within the EMEA support centre that will support overall business strategy.
Develop the recruitment strategy per role, map process, budget and agree timescales in view of finding the best candidate.
Deliver a consistent and efficient internal and external recruitment process for all EMEA Support Centre hiring managers, offering expert guidance and ensuring an excellent candidate experience.
Be a trusted adviser on inclusive hiring practices and support hiring managers with the evolvement of process and understanding of best practice by utlising internal and external sources and networks.
Offer consistent and clear communication throughout hiring campaigns to stakeholders and deliver weekly recruitment updates to hiring managers, vice presidents, PRO business partners and senior manager talent acquisition, EMEA.
Plan for, build and nurture talent pools of internal and external candidates within your functional areas. Be an expert on the requirements of your functional areas and anticipate future needs.
Shape a culture where agency usage is a contingency. Build, develop and manage strong partnerships with recruitment agencies and other recruitment suppliers.
Ensure we engage the best talent strategically & objectively to support the overall business goals.
By building effective partnerships be confident with challenging status quo and be able to influence at a senior level.
Leads on the development and implementation of certain talent acquisition initiatives and on-going process improvements. Constantly be identifying recruitment techniques and tools to attract and retain the very best talent and potential for the future.
Support our PRO strategy of building a talent culture in Starbucks EMEA, including working in service of our licensed business partners on relevant and strategic talent acquisition initiatives.
Is responsible for delivering and maintaining a consistent service and providing the best candidate welcome to the organisation. You will seek feedback and analyse data to ensure you are continuously improving.
Provides a high touch and enriching candidate experience, representing the company culture and providing valuable feedback throughout the recruitment process to both candidates and hiring managers.
Provides the guidance, advice and coaching to the business and hiring managers to ensure compliance with recruitment legislation framework.
Advises on job offers, negotiates with internal and external candidates, closes offers and agrees on candidate start dates in collaboration with hiring managers, PRO partners.
Maintains the data held in Taleo (ATS) in accordance with talent process and procedure.
Sustains and enriches knowledge and skills by pro-actively pursuing external networking opportunities within the talent industry, and utlising the LinkedIn talent solution suite of resources.
Will partner with functional leaders to broaden their external network and support their involvement in events and industry initiatives.
Will partner with the senior manager talent acquisition to present and translate meaningful functional recruitment data sets per quarterly review.
Be able to support the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition with Director hires when required and deputise in periods of short absence.
Full end to end campaign management including ability to direct source using tools such as LinkedIn recruiter
Relationship liaison with external suppliers – driving a strong and competitive PSL and building key business partners to support the TA strategy
Provides guidance, advice and coaching to the business to ensure compliance with recruitment legislation framework, constantly delivering continuous improvement in recruitment and selection methos and processes
Equip managers to own the high touch points of recruitment in a way that demonstrates our mission and values and delivers a great candidate and hiring manager experience at all levels
