Job Purpose and Mission

The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for supporting the UK and CHAT (Switzerland and Austria) Leadership Teams with timely and insightful information to support decision making in a fast-paced dynamic retail environment. Day to day support will focus on CHAT retail operations, UK new store development and will enable exposure to members of both leadership teams.

This role is a high profile, business facing role with the opportunity to develop and grow the role as the strategic direction of the business determines. While a strong finance background is essential to the role, it is equally critical for the individual to be able to sort through data and produce a coherent and informative business presentation for non-finance recipients, with support from the UK finance analysts.

A key part of the role will be the need to investigate and validate financial and non-financial information and then utilise this information to problem solve in order to present a conclusion within tight timeframes.

Strong communication and influencing skills are key to this role.

Key Job Dimensions & Scope of Role

• Develop insightful reporting for the business to support performance tracking
• Support the growth of finance analysts within the team
• Standard office hours, however, flexibility around Period end, quarter end and Ad hoc requests
• Key member of the finance team, working together to achieve both finance and broader business objectives

Summary of Key Responsibilities

• Operate as a key finance contact and support for Leadership Team members
• Be an active partner to CHAT Retail Operations
• Support UK Store Development with both new stores and existing portfolio reviews
• Working with Finance Analysts to ensure information is ready in a complete and timely fashion.
• Supporting the UK LT on ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives
• Working cross functionally (particularly with Accounting) to build strong relationships and ensuring joined up decision making across the business

• Ability to manage senior stakeholders through effective project management skills
• Strong numeric and data management skills
• Extensive Microsoft Office experience, including PowerPoint and Advanced Excel skills
