Starboard IT Hiring for Talent Specialist Job at Sydney Full Time

We are looking for a highly capable a Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, contacting, attracting and relationship building of organizations and companies in need of recruitment.
Put simply, the Talent Specialist has the organizational task of finding companies that Starboard IT can assist with resources, either permanent recruitment, contractors and staff augmentations.

Key Role Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop new business opportunities
• Identify relevant stakeholders and develop relationships
• Build relationships and drive new client recruitment offerings
• Plan, develop and implement a sales plan and strategy
• Generate client loyalty and increase sales, by maintaining and building clients trust and relationships
• Increase company’s profile and visibility
• Reporting – sales activity and opportunity progression reported on a weekly basis to Management
• Forecast /opportunity qualification and tracking
• Develop and present business proposals to customers in a professional and timely manner
• Ensure the staffing needs of clients are being met, with a long-term talent strategy in mind
• Devise and implement sourcing strategies to build pipelines of potential clients and applicants
• Work with clients and prospects to identify staffing needs in different areas and departments
• Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and other professional networks
• Create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position
• Identify and refine the most suitable talent from available candidates
• Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person interviews – if possible
• Assess candidates’ information, including C.Vs., portfolios and references
• Keep records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders
• Conduct preliminary interviews with recruits to gauge interest, personality and salary requirements
• Provide feedback to clients about details regarding applications

Your Experience & Requirements

• 2 years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, or similar
• Experience in the continual development of talent pipelines and sourcing potential clients for recruitment opportunities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill
• Attention to detail…your documents & emails need to be concise before
  you will hit the send button
  
• Familiarity with social media, C.V. databases, and professional networks
• Experience with full-cycle recruiting and sales
• Experience in using LinkedIn Solutions to proactively source candidates
  and clients
• A keen understanding of the clients requirements for each role
• Proficiency in documenting tasks, actions and processes

Qualifications & Requirements

• Located in Sydney
• Australian residency, citizenship or a valid working visa
• AFP Police clearance check required
• Tertiary qualification; Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources management, or similar
