Starboard Hotels Hiring for Management Accountant Job at Beaconsfield, England Full Time

We are looking for a talented and motivated management accountant/ assistant accountant to join our Head Office Team in Beaconsfield. You will play a key role in our Finance Team and look after our sister company Starboard Dining and its fast paced restaurants.

You will have an eye for detail, looking for a new challenge and be able to make a valuable contribution to the business and it’s stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• to prepare and present accurate and timely management accounts, with accompanying variance analysis

• to be the first point of contact for Group Financial Controller, Manging director and Area managers on day-to-day financial matters

• to assist with financial audits and compliance reviews

• to ensure that all financial transactions are carried out in accordance with accounting best practice and in line with Starboard/ Starboard Dining standard policies, practices, and procedures

• to actively contribute to and help maintain a robust control environment

You will have

• completed AAT level 4 (or will be actively studying towards their AAT qualification)

• advanced skills in the use of MS products particularly Excel

• experience in process improvement and / or implementation of new processes

You will be

• an excellent communicator verbally and in writing

• resilient and able to adapt to a changing environment

• a good team player

Experience in the hospitality or service sector is desirable but not essential.

This position is a full-time position ( 40hrs) and office based with occasional travel within the UK to support existing and potential business sites. We offer a salary of £30,000 per annum and following benefits:
