Star Kids Clinic Hiring for Data Entry Clerk – Part Time at Markham, ON Full Time

Pediatric clinic in Markham seeks data entry clerk for an entry-level position. We are looking for someone detail-oriented, meticulous and with excellent computer skills. No previous medical clinic experience is required.

Location: 110 Copper Creek Drive, Unit 200, Markham ON L6B0P9

Job start date: January 4 2022

Hours: Thursdays only, 9am-5pm *MUST be available at this time*

Wages: Starting wages $15/hour with advancement with time in the position

The data entry clerk will perform the following duties:

• Sort faxes

• Scan documents

• Electronically file medical documents

• Schedule appointments for multiple physicians using various scheduling software.

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Ability to multi-task, detail-oriented, able to work in a team environment

• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with email, MS Word. Ability to learn new software quickly.

• Experience with Telus PSS is an asset

• Able to communicate clearly and professionally with patients and medical staff in writing and verbally

• Excellent spoken and written English; second language will be considered an asset.

• Comfortable with children of all ages

• Dependable and professional

Other requirements:

• Medical clearance for tuberculosis and police record check including vulnerable sector check will be required before starting the position.

Part-time hours: 8 per week
