Looking for a candidate who can teach and have a strong background in Minecraft during Spring Break in Santa Paula. Be a part of an exciting, enrichment program nurturing TK-5th graders in advancing their abilities and providing them with a one-of-a-kind experience you can’t get anywhere else. If you are interested in becoming a teacher, working in STAR’s Spring Break setting is a great place to start!*

• Available shifts 7:45 am- 12:45 pm and 12:15-5:15 pm
• Week 1 April 3-6
• Week 2 April 10-14
• $35 per hour
• Location: Santa Paula

Other responsibilities include:

• Supervising mealtime (Breakfast, Lunch, Supper)
• Supervising recess, including coming up with indoor activities during inclement weather
• Handling student check-in and check-out
• Answering parent questions and concerns

Must be able to pick up supplies from our Regional Office in Thousand Oaks.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• Experience teaching TK-5th grade students
• Must have Reliable Transportation
• Must be punctual, reliable, enthusiastic, responsible, and flexible
• CRP and First Aid Certified or willing to get certified
• Dedicated to children with diverse backgrounds and academic levels
• Ability to work in fast-pace environment

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Independently Lead groups of up to 14 students from TK-5th grade
• Attend Teacher Training where you will be trained in Classroom Management
• Instructors are expected to arrive on time and provide an educational, safe, and enjoyable class experience for students
• Creative, artist thinking with the ability to do so under time constraints
• Create curriculum and execute them effectively
