Stantec Looking for Senior/Structural Engineer at Reading, Berkshire Full Time

Stantec are looking to appoint a Senior/Structural Engineer to join our busy multidisciplinary team in Reading. Our portfolio of clients and work is expanding; as such we are looking to add further experience to our team to support our aspirational growth plans and our strong order book.

Joining an established team of building engineers, you will provide engineering support from project feasibility to delivery. Your projects will cross a range of building types and materials, requiring some challenging engineering problem solving and creative thinking. Projects include large and small scale new-build developments, as well as work on renovation/remodelling and historic buildings. 

You will work closely with your multi-disciplinary colleagues within Stantec to provide high-quality coordinated engineering design solutions to our clients. You will provide mentorship to junior staff and aide in their career development, as well as continuing to focus on your own CPD.

About You

You will hold a relevant degree qualification in Civil or Structural engineering and will be Chartered with the IStructE or ICE.

You will have a proven track record in structural building engineering design, be experienced in the delegation and management of junior engineers and CAD resources.  You will also have the necessary skills and experience to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders, including our most valued clients. Exceptional attention to detail and strong presentation skills are also required.
