About the role…

To meet the demands of our growing business we require a highly skilled, energetic and enthusiastic HR Administrator to ‘hit the ground running’, providing reliable and consistent HR administration supporting all generalist HR functions including but not limited to; recruitment and selection, employee departures and terminations, performance management, learning and development, and WHS. Reporting to and working alongside the HR Director and HR Advisors, this is a pivotal role within the HR team with major impact capability across our ANZ business.

Main responsibilities of the role include:

• Respond to HR enquiries, referring matters to the appropriate HR team member when necessary
• Assist in the preparation of HR documentation and correspondence as required
• Prepare new employee packs and new employee files
• Input and update employee data in the HRIS Systems
• Maintain electronic and hard copy employee records including printing, scanning, uploading collating and filing of documentation
• Archiving of HR documentation in accordance with legislative requirements
• Perform and monitor compliance screening for Police Checks, Working with Children registration, and re-credentialing of health professionals
• Ensure all information related to workers is kept confidential
• Undertake other general administration tasks as required by the HR Manager
• Contribute to developing a culturally safe workplace
• Participate in organisation-wide, site based and team meetings, collaborative planning activities and other meetings or activities relevant to position
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of systems and processes ensuring services meet professional and industry standards
• Equity and diversity responsibilities as identified in organisational policies and procedures

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Previous HR administration experience
• Able to work autonomously to meet deadlines
• High attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Proficient MS Word and Excel skills
• Strong organisation skills and time management
• Ability to interact with staff members on various levels and maintain confidentiality
