Stan Hiring for Creative Sports Producer at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Full Time

Stan is seeking a highly motivated Creative Sports Producer to join our Stan Sport function. This position will be responsible for building and maintaining on-going creative around the sport broadcast by Stan Sport. They will take ownership of all creative aspects of productions including graphics, features, teasers and strategic projects/shoots. requires someone with not only a passion for Sport, but with the experience in media and/or broadcasting, to understand how to best to drive the narrative, look and feel of the production/content across multiple platforms and mediums.The role ranges from directing shoots, to working with the graphics providers to conceptualise new elements and designs. The main focus will be rugby union but the role will oversee creative on other Stan Sport productions.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Liaison with Head of Production, Executive Producers and related department planning leads to drive a weekly creative for rugby union and other Stan Sport properties
• Production of features, teasers and creative shoots
• Manage the relationship with graphic providers – internal and external
• Creation and distribution of social media content
• Work with Stan Sport partners to identify content opportunities and collaboration
• Set and drive a weekly sport narrative to inform content decisions

Skills and Experience

• 10+ years experience in sports media production with broadcast knowledge a must
• Passion for and detailed knowledge of Australian sport (rugby union knowledge an advantage but not a prerequisite)
• All rounder production ability – understanding long form and short form content and how to engage different audiences
• Hands on experience in editing or publishing broadcast or digital content an advantage
• Good news experience and news sense an advantage
• Strong stakeholder management and and ability to drive collective outcomes
• Exceptional time management and organisation skills
• Flexible and adaptable to change
• Excellent attention to detail
• Working within budgetary requirements
