Stamford Hotels and Resorts Adelaide is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for our Finance Team.

About the role

The successful applicant will have experience in Hotel accounts and demonstrated experience in carrying out following Accounts Payable functions but not limited to:

Ensuring the all the hotel invoices payments in a timely manner- ensuring accuracy

Distributing invoices for authorization and approval of payment requisitions

Checking invoices against Purchase Orders and Capital Expenditure requests, ensuring appropriate authorisation

Raising of weekly and monthly payment runs ensuring complete documentation

Transferring of batches of invoices from inventory and reconciling batch reports to inventory

Reconciliation of supplier statements, outstanding cheques/payments from Bank Statement

Handling all vendor inquiries and reconcile vendor statement

Handling supplier enquiries regarding payments

Recording of all outstanding purchase orders and invoices not processed, at month end for accrual purposes

Ensuring stop payment forms are forwarded to the bank on a timely basis, when required

About you

Previous experience in Accounting role and the ability to work within a busy team environment

Exceptional communication and organisational skills

Experience dealing effectively and professionally with key stakeholders at all levels

Demonstrated experience producing high quality work within deadlines

The ability to multi-task and immaculate attention to detail

Working knowledge of GST and experience in allocation of revenue and matching financial transactions to bank statements

Ability to compile facts and figures
