Staffline Looking for Project Manager at Dunfermline Full Time

Brightwork’s client is currently recruiting for a Project Manager for their sites in Fife, where you will be responsible for overseeing the duties of all members of the project team within the construction sector.

Purpose of Role

The project manager will be responsible for overseeing of all members of the project team in working on new builds and refurbished projects. Forward thinking candidate, able to work under pressure and have great managerial skills working in the construction sector.  Strong groundwork and finishing skills are advantage.      

Main Responsibilities

• Proven track record in working on new builds and refurbishment projects
• Ensure all necessary items required for an effective start on site in accordance with site checklist
• Detailed construction programme
• Compile the project planner in line with the construction programme (Designs, procurement and fabrication durations)
• Organise and participate in the project meetings with other divisions from the project
• General administration of design information and development ensuring that all contractors and designers are kept up to date with progression and current information
• Assist surveyors with interim/final valuations, variation orders and site measurement as required
• Inspect the works regularly to ensure that they comply with the specification expectations     

Key Skills:

• Project management experience (3 years)
• Educated in Building Construction, Construction Management or Civil Engineering
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering and architecture principles  
• Strong groundwork and finishing skills
• Ability to budget, schedule and control costs
• Proficient IT Skills (Microsoft Office and general software)
• Leadership and management skills
• CSCS Card and SMSTS
