Staffing Lab LLC Hiring for Software Test Engineer Job at Charlotte, NC Full Time

We are seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer to help lead the company test automation efforts. The ideal candidate will be a strong technical leader who is motivated, comfortable in a team environment, and enjoys proactively searching for innovative solutions to complex problems. As a Senior Software Test Engineer, you must be familiar with agile development concepts and work with the other disciplines to design and develop automated tests to test-drive our solutions. My client is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time. Responsibilities:

• You will provide mentorship, training, and guidance to others on the team on automation test strategies and methodologies.
• You will work in sprints analyzing and decomposing complicated software systems and design and build test automation.
• You will work as an agile team member participating in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and task estimation.
• You will work with DevOps to ensure the quality and state of the software in the delivery pipeline and work with the team to improve it
• You will document and review testing results working closely with developers and product owners to resolve reported issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Deep understanding of testing lifecycle, test design methodologies, test execution, and defect tracking
• Experienced in Azure and testing the Microsoft development stack: .NET Framework 4.5+, .NET Core, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, REST, ORM, T-SQL, JSON, XML, HTML, CSS, and REACT.
• Experience testing applications using NUnit, or xUnit, unit testing frameworks.
• Experience with (TDD) Test Driven Development, (BDD) Behavioral Driven Development, and associated tools like SpecFlow and Gherkin.
• Complete understanding of CI/CD and modern branching strategies using tools like (Git, BitBucket, orAzure DevOps)
• Ability to work independently as well as in a group setting with strong leadership skills
