StaffDNA Hiring for Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist Job at Plano, TX Full Time

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to help shape the next chapter of our company by developing creative strategies to attract, engage and hire the best. The ideal person is highly organized and has a passion for building relationships and engaging with talented people.

Your Responsibilities:

• Work closely with hiring managers to identify hiring needs and provide guidance for long-term planning.
• Actively fill open positions within required timeframes, including in person and remote interviews to identify applicant’s qualifications.
• Work with hiring managers to develop candidate selection criteria and talent acquisition strategy.
• Maximize the use of current and/or new recruitment tools (ex.: our company website, LinkedIn, social media, internal referrals, networking, etc), to ensure we are attracting a wide variety of diverse candidates
• Serve as the point-of-contact for candidates: answering any questions and creating a positive, first-class experience
• Ensure that all those involved in the recruitment process (both the candidate & hiring manager) are updated in a timely & effective manner
• Use metrics to create reports and identify areas for improvement

Your Qualifications:

• 2+ years of talent acquisition or human resources experience highly preferred
• Superior communication skills allowing you to connect with candidates and speak to the positions in detail over the phone, text, email and in person
• Familiarity with LinkedIn, Handshake, Indeed Easy Apply or other candidate sourcing databases and tools
• Direct experience in interviewing and screening techniques
• Strong customer service, negotiation skills and ability to interact with employees at all levels throughout the company.
• Strong work ethic and sense of integrity, trustworthiness, and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Innate talent for problem solving and thinking creatively
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Associate Degree or equivalent work experience
