PHYSICAL EDUCATION TECHNICIAN

St Wilfrid’s Catholic High School & Sixth-Form College

Salary: Grade 4 SCP 5-6

(£19,650 – £20,043) paid pro rata to hours worked.

Actual salary £12,240

27.5 hours per week

Permanent, term-time only contract plus one additional day

This is an opportunity to join us in making a significant difference to the students at St Wilfrid’s.

The post holder will be expected to work alongside the Physical Education team as required to help setup equipment, support lessons and carry out any administrative tasks required. The post holder will also act as lifeguard for swimming lessons and activities.

When not required to support the Physical Education department the post holder will act as a Learning Support Assistant. We expect this to be approximately 20% of the working week.

The post holder will be expected to work flexibly and carry out any work that is reasonably required and is appropriate to the grade.

St Wilfrid’s Catholic High School & Sixth-Form College is a mixed voluntary Academy for 11-18 year olds, based in North Featherstone in West Yorkshire. There are currently 1,538 students in attendance. The school opened in 1963 and has a proud history. We were judged as Good by Ofsted in November 2021; we were also judged as Good by the Diocesan Section 48 Inspection in April 2017

We are proudly part of the Bishop Konstant Catholic Academy Trust which comprises of three Secondary Schools and twelve Primary Schools.
