About the Role
This critical role in St Vincent’s will be responsible for the ongoing professional development of Operating Suite nursing staff including those within structured programs such as pre-registration placements, graduate nurse programs, pathway to specialty practice and postgraduate nursing programs.
You will ensure best practice by providing ongoing education and support for all nursing staff achieved by implementing clinically based education using the principles of Evidenced Based Practice to improve the delivery of nursing care.
Classification for this position range is YZ7 ($110,333) per annum pro rata).
Your Contribution
You will be a qualified Registered Nurse, who holds post graduate studies in perioperative nursing and is passionate about the professional development and continued education of nursing staff. Your strong communication and previous clinical teaching skills will see you motivate and engage our Nurses. Finally, your exceptional organisational skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment will see you hit the ground running!
You will also:

Be registered in Division 1 with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board and hold a current Practicing Certificate.

Hold a current National criminal history check, or be willing to obtain
