Teacher of Religious Education (Maternity Cover)

Location: St Thomas More Catholic School, Blaydon, Tyne and Wear, NE21 4BQ

Grade: Main Pay Scale 1 – 6 / Upper Pay Scale 1 – 3

Hours: Full Time, Temporary Contract linked to maternity cover (Required immediately – 31st March 2023)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Religious Education to join St Thomas More Catholic School, Blaydon.

The Trust wishes to appoint a suitably qualified candidate, with passion and expertise, to teach Religious Education, on a temporary contract, linked to Maternity Leave.

The successful candidate will have the passion and expertise to join this expanding and successful department, and will be expected to be able to teach a range of courses at KS3, KS4 and KS5. They will have high expectations of our students and be able to enthuse and motivate them with your passion for the subject and creative teaching, presence and personality.
