Finance Officer – Accounting Services

The successful candidate will use their well-developed technical, communication, research and analytical skills to provide the College with high quality and timely financial processing services.

Reporting to the Finance Accountant this postion plays a key role in supporting the finance team by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data in financial and related systems. This includes preparation of monthly finance reports, assisting with month and year end processes and preparation of bank reconciliations and Geneal Ledger reconciliations.

We are looking for:

• Working knowledge of all aspects of the finance functions as well as financial reporting procedures to support Finance Accountant
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and feel comfortable working through complex situations
• Excellent interpersonal skills and can communicate sensitively and confidentially with parents, colleagues and other external parties
• Ability to use technology and software effectively to assist communication and lead workflow efficiencies
• Demonstrate high levels of personal initiative and accountability and can achieve outcomes within strict timeframes
• Experience within a similar role. While not essential, experience in a school environment would be advantageous
