St Marys Cement Canada Hiring for Assistant Production Manager at Bowmanville, ON Full Time
In alignment with Votorantim Cimentos’ Values & Beliefs, the Assistant Plant Manager facilitates initiatives and coordinates activities at the Cement Manufacturing Plant to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize profits.
Essential duties & Responsibilities:
Supervision of hourly work force of labourers and shippers, including: being a safety advocate, assigning daily tasks, monitoring working performance, completing payroll, manage sick leave and performance management
Individual is responsible to coordinate the logistics of shipping materials from the plant by transport, rail and ship.
Individual coordinates maintenance and repair of Production equipment
Completes production reporting from the plant through to our executive operations leadership, for accuracy of daily raw materials, inventory, downtime reports, silo measurements, production reports, shipments
Ensures accuracy of inventory controls, coordinates with external suppliers for raw material deliveries
Monitor and control production costs with Production Manager

Coordinate repairs to railway system on St Marys property and shipping equipment
