The Position
St John of God Health Care is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join the Group Services Finanace team in Kings Square, Perth.
As a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst you will be responsible for Group Reporting, Analytics and Planning in the Group Finance team. The role will oversee management accounting for Group Services, and will also provide analytical support to the Group GCFO and Group Manager – Financial Reporting and Analysis.
This role will be offered on a permanent full time basis, working 76 hours per fortnight based in our Kings Square CBD office.
This position is responsible for:
Management Accounting and Reporting

Lead the month-end close process for Group Services Directorates and Corporate Group Services Division.

Review all monthly variance reporting for Group Services provided to Group Directors and Hospital Executive Teams.
Budget / Forecast
-
Work with Group Manager – Financial Reporting and Analysis to run the Annual Budget and Quarterly Forecast process for the SJGHC Group.

Assist with the preparation of any papers for annual budget and quarterly forecast reporting to FIC and Board.

Support the review of Group Services annual budgets with Group Directors and Cost Centre Managers and maintain the 10 Year Forecast model for SJGHC Group.
Analytical Support

Coordinate and prepare debt funding/treasury analysis and scenario modelling as required by the Group Manager – Financial Reporting & Analysis.

Responsible for data analytics and modelling required by the Group Manager – Financial Reporting & Analysis and Group CFO supporting organisational and strategic priorities
The successfull candidate will have:
- A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
- Possession of a tertiary qualification and professional membership of a recognised Australian accounting body.
- Minimum seven years of demonstrable experience in management accounting, financial modelling, data analytics and business partnering.
- Highly numerate and analytical in developing and interpreting financial, commercial and strategic analysis.
- Proven experience in managing a team, workflow management and process improvement.
- Demonstrated experience in developing, preparing and monitoring complex budgets, forecasting and profit and loss management.
- Experience in technical writing for senior management and Board and Committee reports.
- Proven ability to work professionally in a high performing team, across a range of internal and external stakeholders and participants.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing process improvements.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work effectively, plan for and meet reporting deadlines.
