JOB DESCRIPTION – St. Croix Festival Theatre

JOB TITLE: Box Office Associate

TO: Box Office Manager

STATUS: Beginning September/October 2022

Box Office Associate

GENERAL SUMMARY: The Box Office Associate connects Festival Theatre to visiting patrons by way of personal and electronic communication.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

● Assist in scheduling of volunteers by way of communicating any needs to volunteer coordinator
● Lead even planning on an as needed basis
● Serve as first contact for patrons
● Sell tickets utilizing AudienceView Professional
● Running credit cards and receiving funds for donations or sales transactions
● Prepare daily Box Office close
● Close communication with Box Office team
● Oversee volunteers during events
● Keep Lobby area clean and presentable
● Pursue group sales
● Other box office duties as assigned

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

● At all times, Box Office Associate will represent St. Croix Festival Theatre in a professional manner with the best interest of the organization in mind.

● The Box Office Associate will abide by all policies of St. Croix Festival Theatre, including the sexual harassment policy, and will follow, to the best of their ability, The four guideline agreements (from Don
Miguel Ruiz).

● Hours are from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm two days per week. Additional nights and weekends as scheduled by the Box Office Manager.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.50 – $16.50 per hour
