We are currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Talent team. This is an 11month max term, full-time position based in our Perth Corporate Office on a Monday – Friday roster.
Reporting to the Senior Talent Specialist, you will provide talent acquisition for St Barbara Ltd including systems management, talent pooling and end‐to‐end recruitment services and support.
The opportunity

• Partnering with Hiring Managers to provide an efficient and effective end‐to‐end recruitment process as per the St Barbara Recruitment System.
• Implementing fit‐for‐purpose talent attraction strategies for current operations and new project resourcing requirements..
• Managing talent pools aligned with operational requirements ensuring diversity of candidates for all roles.
• Utilising networks and online platforms to engage and secure candidates in line with the St Barbara Values and role requirements.
• Assisting with talent sourcing strategies and implementing plans to increase the pipeline of talent for future business growth e.g. University Vacation Programs, Graduate Development Programs,
• Planning and participating in industry activities to expand candidate reach for Australian Operations, i.e. careers fairs, Get Into Resources

• Relevant experience recruiting technical roles in a mining or heavy industry site environment
• Strong stakeholder management and networking capability
