SSI Hiring for SSI USA Software Developer at Mobile, AL Full Time

About the Opportunity

Due to our continued growth, SSI USA (ShipConstructor Software USA) is seeking to fill a Software Developer position in our Professional Services department in our Mobile, AL office. It is preferable that the selected candidate be working in the Mobile, AL office. The successful candidate will be part of a team of expert consultants, analysts, and product developers who continually push the boundaries of the technologies and methodologies of effective software development.

The Position

This challenging position offers the opportunity to work in desktop application and SQL Server development for our US team.

Your skills and interests will influence the nature of this position.

What we look for:

• Degree, Diploma or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Engineering
• Minimum 2 years experience in a Software Development role
• Ability to work and collaborate with a team
• Creative problem solving skills

Great to Have:

• Experience with C# or other modern object-oriented language
• C++ and/or COM experience
• AutoCAD or other CAD software experience
• Experience with PowerShell or other scripting and automation languages
• Understanding of SQL best practices and methodologies
• Front-End Web technologies (JS, CSS, jQuery, REST)
• Ability to gather requirements and estimate development tasks
