About the Role

Base Location: Perth

Salary: £22,178 – £29,290 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: 6 month Fixed Term Contract / Secondment | Flexible First options available

Working as part of the HR Services New Contracts & Changes Team you will be required to provide general administration support to our HR function, ensuring all new and existing employee changes are completed accurately and efficiently. Your work will cover all areas of the SSE Group, and therefore you’ll have the opportunity to engage with a broad range of stakeholders across the organisation.

We are committed to continuous improvement and you will be expected to actively look for opportunities to be more efficient and improve the service provision of the team. You will work at all times in a safe manner and engage with and actively contribute to all company and department safety activities and initiatives.

You’ll cover a range of activities, however your main responsibilities will include:-

• Onboarding of new starters.

• Creation of contracts of employment and ensuring vetting and verification has been carried out.

• Updating employment records on our HR system with any contractual changes and sending out communications to our employees.

• Providing tenancy and mortgage references as well as dealing with requests for copies of contracts of employment.

• Handle a range of employee queries professionally, securely and efficiently.

What do I need?

To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with the business structure and activities of SSE and be able to demonstrate a high level of customer service. We’d also love you to have:-

• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

• Strong attention to detail

• Good organisational skills

• Excellent skills in Microsoft office
