Project Engineer – Power

SSA are currently recruiting for Project Engineers to join a leading Civil Engineering & Utilities contractor who are going through a period of expansion to an increasing workload. They are heavily involved in High Voltage projects for National Grid and Distribution Networks Operators (DNO’s) up to 400kV, with a focus on civil & cable installations & repair, faults & services, and substation works.

The role will involve: 

  • Resolving technical issues on projects; 
  • Active involvement during tendering & estimation process; 
  • Assisting with tender & construction programmes; 
  • Assisting with the design;
  • Effectively managing customer & client relationships; 
  • Managing operational aspects of projects & activities to timeline and agreed costs. 

Essential: 

  • Experience within UK Electrical HV industry;
  • HNC or higher level qualification in a relevant field
