A long established Carpinteria based company has an immediate opening in the Accounting department. This position is responsible for the bookkeeping of multiple companies with a strong emphasis on accounts payable, bank and credit card reconciliation and administrative assistance to the Accounting team. A very organized person who has, strong attention to detailed with bookkeeping experience will succeed at this position. This position is fast paced, handles a high volume, very diverse transactions for multiple companies.
Skills
- 5 year minimum of proven working experience in Bookkeeping handling inventory, Accounts Payable and bank reconciliations.
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles using a Chart of Accounts for assigning correct account codes
- Experience using Accounting modular software including QuickBooks
- Proficiency in Excel using basic formulas, Word and Outlook
- Customer service orientation for resolving customer and vendor issues
- High degree of organization, accuracy and attention to detail
- AA Degree or higher in Accounting or a related field or related experience
